Ron Holle
Ron Holle is a meteorological consultant in Oro Valley, Arizona in the United States. He received his B.S. and M.S. degrees in meteorology from Florida State University. He retired from NOAA Research Laboratories after three decades of research. He has worked extensively in meteorological education issues relating to lightning safety and the demographics of lightning victims and damages and has authored or co-authored numerous journal papers, books and book chapters, and informal papers in these areas. He has spoken on lightning safety at many technical conferences, civic groups, and has been interviewed for television programs, magazines, and newspapers. Mr. Holle is a Fellow of the American Meteorological Society and received the Fujita Research Achievement Award from the National Weather Association.
Ron Holle retired as Senior Scientist with Vaisala in Tucson, Arizona, USA, in July 2021.
