When funds permit, ACLENet staff investigate Injury Reports
Investigation of reports, including how people were injured, where they were, what the weather conditions and many other details, help us formulate questions to our Research Advisors, answers to which enable us to give better recommendations to schools and to governments or to design more appropriate lightning protection. Publication, when appropriate, in medical journals enables medical personnel to better care for survivors and contribute to prevention efforts.
